Procter & Gamble to Relocate their Regional HQ from Venezuela & Guatemala to Panama

Not only Hewlett-Packard and Caterpillar will install regional HQ in Panama, but also comes Procter & Gamble (P&G), one of the greatest multinationals of the planet, that has presence in more than 160 countries and produces foods, drinks, medicines and an vast range of cleanliness articles and personal beauty, like Gillette, Ariel, Tampax and Pringles.

"The vice-minister of Foreign trade Carmen Gisela Vergara confirmed that to us during the budgetary visit of the ministry", deputy Elizabeth Hernandez, secretary of the Commission of Budget of the Assembly said.

"With the multinationals law that recently was approved, we are managing to attract to Panama the regional HQ of these corporations, and more are coming, also shipping and others call centers".

A source related to the Presidency of the Republic confirmed the data, and detailed that the transnational company thinks to relocate to the country 270 of its executives, suggesting investment to it that is raised is considerable. "P&G thinks to transfer their regional HQ from Venezuela and Guatemala to Panama", the source affirmed. Until the closing of this edition, the company had not issued commentaries.
